Aligner fabrication
The 3D model of your teeth is used to create a series of clear aligners that are custom-made to fit your teeth.
Monitoring
Once they have been created you will attend an appointment to fit your first stage of aligners. You will also be shown how to use the Dental Monitoring to be able to scan your progress from home.
Wearing the aligners
The aligners should be worn for 20-22 hours per day and changed every 7-10 days depending on the treatment plan.
Dental monitoring check-ins
You will scan your teeth every 7-10 days. The Dental Monitoring app will advise you if you can move onto the next stage. This is monitored by your dentist so if there are any issues they can contact you.
Progression through the aligners
As you progress through the aligners you will begin to see your teeth shift and align according to the treatment plan. Regular dental monitoring check-ins will ensure that the treatment is progressing as planned
Completion of treatment
After your final stage you will have achieved your perfect smile. You will get any refinements included if you are not happy with the results and also will receive a retainer to keep your smile.
